Clara Mary Hovis, 80, of Cottonwood, Arizona passed away on Saturday, July 9th. She was born in Eau Clare, Pensylvania on May 19, 1925.

Mrs. Hovis attended schools in North Washington and Eau Clare, Pennsylvania. She was a faithful minister's wife and a devoted homemaker and mother.

She enjoyed baking, reading, entertaining company, traveling, attending church camp meetings, crocheting, sewing, and quilting. Mrs Hovis was a member of the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church.

She is survived by her husband of 56 years David Martin Hovis; son, David L. Hovis, Heber, Ariz.; brothers, Roy Wade, Salem, Oh.; Bob Wade, Grove City, Penn.; Jim Wade, Eldredo, Penn.; sister: Jean Deets, Hannaville, Penn.; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.

A visitaion will be held on Wednesday, July 13th from 9:00 to 11:00 a.m. at the Allegheny Wesleyan Methodist Church 1619 Rainbow Road, Cottonwood, Ariz. followed by a funeral service beginnig at 11:00 a.m.

Burial will take place at the Clintonville Methodist Cemetery in Clintonville, Pennsylvania.
