Departed on Dec. 4, 2007 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Helen Marie Rose, 91, resident of Camp Verde, passed away in Cottonwood on Tuesday, December 4, 2007. She was born in Pangburn, Arkansas on April 8, 1916 to Harvey and Bessie (Taylor) Short.

Helen worked in the grocery industry for most of her life. She was a member of the Church of Christ; and she taught Sunday school until she was 82. Helen was not only a teacher but a friend to all children. She was a warm and wonderful mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother; who laughed easily and often. She will be deeply missed by family and friends.

She leaves behind sons, Boyd W. Rose, wife, Caralyn, Walnut Creek, Calif., Eddie M. Rose, wife, Kathye, Camp Verde, and Robert G. Rose, wife, Joyce, Los Angeles, Calif.; daughter, Anne M. Madrigal, husband, Carlos, Yuma, Ariz.; sister, Winnie Jolliff, San Diego, Calif., 12 grandchildren, and 15 great-grandchildren.


A Memorial Service will be held on Tuesday, December 11, 2007 at 2:00pm at the Camp Verde Church of Christ, on Arena del Loma.

Inurnment will take place on Wednesday, December 12, 2007 at 10:00am at the Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale.
