| Elfriede L. Dauer Born in Hamburg, Germany on Sep. 12, 1915 Departed on Aug. 27, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, AZ. Elfriede L. Dauer, 89, of Cottonwood died August 27. She was born September 12, 1915 in Hamburg, Germany. She attendeded schools in Germany before coming to the United States. Mrs. Dauer retired as an Optical Inspector and Sales Associate. Her interests were music and ballet. She was preceded in death by her husband. Surviving are her daughters, Ursula Schlachter, Burlington, Canada and Elfriede Grote, Prospect, Ky.; brother Kurt Vogt of Hamburg, Germany; sister, Liselotte Eid of Norway; six grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
