Elvira R. Baca Born in Reserve, New Mexico on April 16, 1917. Departed on Aug. 18, 2005 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Elvira R. Baca, 88, of Cottonwood, passed away August 18. She was born April 16, 1917 in Reserve, New Mexico to Louis and Maria Barreras Romero. Elvira was a longtime resident of Flagstaff for 22 years. She was a member of the Ladies Auxillary of St. Pius Catholic Church. She loved cooking and spending time with her daughters and grandchildren. She will be greatly missed. Elvira was preceded in death by her husband of 62 years, Secundino Baca and one granddaughter. She is survived by daughters Donna Lee (Vicente) Martinez, Dolores (Richard) Perea, and Petra (Bobby) Martinez; 9 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. The Rosary will be on Sunday, August 21 at 6 p.m. at the Westcott Funeral Home in Cottonwood. A Funeral Mass will be held on Monday, August 22 at 9:30 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church.
