Dolores Chavez Rincon Born in Mexico on April 30, 1914. Departed on July 24, 2005 and resided in Clarkdale, Arizona. Dolores Chavez Rincon, 91, a longtime resident of Clarkdale, Arizona, passed away, on Sunday, July 24th at the home of her sister in Norwalk, California. Mrs. Rincon was born in Chihuahua, Mexico on April 30, 1914, to Juan Olivas and Adela (Y Baven) Chavez. She moved to Jerome, Arizona as a child, and attended grade school. She was married to Luis J. Rincon for 42 years, and they lived in Bagdad, Arizona where he worked as a blacksmith for the mining company. Mrs. Rincon was a housewife, she crocheted and was a devoted member of St. Cecilia's Catholic Church for many years. She is survived by her brothers, Tom Chavez, Las Vegas, Nev.; Frank Chavez, Studio City, Calif.; sisters, Emilia C. Villanueva, San Fernando, Calif. Elvira C. Sanchez and Margaret(Maggie) Contreras both of Norwalk, Calif. and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her husband Luis J. Rincon. A visitation and Rosary service will be held Sunday, July 31st at Westcott Funeral Home 1013 E. Mingus Ave from 4:00 to 6:00 p.m. The Recitation of the Rosary will be at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Monday, August 1st at 10:00 a.m. at Immaculate Conception Catholic Church, 700 Bill Gray Road. Burial will be at Valley View Cemetery. Westcott Funeral Home as been entrusted with arrangements. Westcott Funeral Home, Cottonwood and Camp Verde, Arizona. |
