Milburn Donella (Mel) Kendall

Milburn "Mel" Donnella Kendall Sr. was a Wickenburg resident who passed away June 22.

He was born in Mapleton, Utah, June 26, 1926. Milburn would have been 80 years old.

Milburn and his wife of 58 years, Carrie Jane (Butcher) Kendall moved to Wickenburg March of 1980.

Milburn was a veteran in World War II serving in the Navy. He later became a contractor and carpenter.

Milburn loved gold mining and was very devoted to his family and the L.D.S. Church.

Survivors include Milburn's wife Carrie and their children Beverly Dianne Jones of Idaho, Patricia Ann Kendall of Wickenburg, Milburn D. Kendall Jr. and wife Linda of Kaysville, Utah, Lavar Kendall and his wife Alison of Wickenburg. He is also survived by Breezy Jones.
The Kendall family was blessed with a total of 15 grandchildren, 14 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great-grandchildren. Milburn Kendall was a wonderful, loving and caring husband, father, and grandfather. We have been blessed in the memories he has given us and he will be cherished always.

A viewing will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints at Whipple and Lazy Fox Road, Thursday, June 29, 2006 from 6 to 8 p.m.

Funeral Services will be held at The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints Friday, June 30 at 10 a.m. with visitation one hour prior. He will be laid to rest in the Wickenburg Cemetery.
