The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ Nov 29, 2006, p. A17 Corbieann Nichols, 51, was called home on Nov. 21. Corbie was born in San Jose, Calif., on Jan. 29, 1955. She moved to Arizona during her youth and after many travels settled in Wickenburg. Corbie enjoyed camping, sewing, traveling, and spending time with her family. Corbie was preceded in death by her mother and step-father Alleyne and Ted Razee, brother Guy Settle, and son Scott Bowman. Those she leaves behind are her father and step-mother Tony and Ginger Settle, daughter Traci Maben (Jamie), daughter-in-law Cindi Bowman, sisters Lorraine Onesian (Rob) and Donna Sanders (Jerry), brother Tony Settle (Pam), step-siblings Brian Green and Juliet Newhouse, grandchildren Brittany and Eric Bowman and Kailey and Cambri Maben, great-granddaughter Madison Hill, and fiancé Bret Rubash. Corbie also leaves many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews, cousins and dear friends. "We little knew that morning that God was going to call your name. In life we loved you dearly, in death we do the same. It broke our hearts to lose you; you did not go alone, for part of us went with you, the day God called you home. You left us peaceful memories, your love is still our guide; and though we cannot see you, you are always at our side. Our family chain is broken and nothing seems the same, but as God calls us one by one, the chain will link again." Corbie's companionship, kindness, and love will be greatly missed by all who knew her - a woman who could never be replaced. Services will be Friday, Dec. 1 at 3 p.m. at the Community Alliance Church. Funeral arrangements were wonderfully handled by David's Desert Chapel Funeral Home. See Also: Find A Grave |
