| The Wickenburg Sun, Wickenburg, AZ June 29, 2005, p. B12. Maxine M. Norby Funeral services were held Friday, June 24 at 10 a.m. at St. Anthony's Catholic Church in Wickenburg for Maxine M. Norby, age 70, who passed away in her home on June 20. Rosary was recited Thursday, June 23 at Frey-Wickenburg Funeral Home. Concluding services and interment took place in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery. Maxine was born and raised in New York and attended D'youville Nursing School, becoming a registered nurse. She later began working at the Veteran's Hospital. She married Butch Norby on Dec. 28, 1963 at St. Agnes Catholic Church in Phoenix. They made their home in the Maryvale area and came to Wickenburg in 1997. She had worked as secretary at St. Anthony's Church and was a member of the parish. She was preceded in death by her husband Butch Norby July 2, 2001. She is survived by daughters and sons-in-law Barbara and Kevin Sandusky of Congress, Mary and John Fedor of Gilbert; son and daughter-in-law Mike and Tammy Norby of Laveen; sister and brother-in-law Kathleen and Peter Grimes of Avondale; grandchildren Matthew, Jessica and Tyler Sandusky of Congress, Dylan and Allyson Fedor of Gilbert, and Cody, Darla and Brandon Norby of Laveen.
