Pearl E. Ullyot, 86, died July 3 at The Queen's Hospital in Honolulu, Hawaii.

Pearl Gregerson was born March 17, 1916 in Webster, S.D., the daughter of Gustave and Gunhild (Larson) Gregerson. Following graduation from Webster High School in 1934, she moved to Clark, S.D., where she was employed as manager of the dime store.

She was joined in marriage to Wendell J. "Bennie" Ullyot in Mobridge, S.D. on Oct. 31, 1938. They made their home in Clark where together they operated Ullyot's Market until 1962 when they moved to Wickenburg, where again they worked side by side at Shannon's Frontier Market.

Following her husband's death in 1966, Pearl worked at the Wickenburg Pharmacy until her retirement in 1978. Since the fall of 2000, she had been dividing her time among her children's homes in Arizona, Hawaii and South Dakota.

Pearl is survived by her children, Tamara Baker of Sioux Falls, S.D., Wendie (Fred) Wong of Honolulu, and Isaac (Rebecca) Ullyot of Prescott; six grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, Kenny Gregerson of Webster, S.D.; and nieces, nephews and a host of relatives and friends.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Wednesday, Aug. 14 at Frey Funeral Home in Wickenburg. Inurnment will follow at the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.

Memorial services have been held in Honolulu and Sioux Falls.
