Kevin Cole Barr of Chino Valley, Ariz., passed away in Prescott, Ariz., on Friday, Nov. 23, 2007, due to complications from congestive heart failure. Kevin was born in Aledo, Ill., on Feb. 11, 1955, to Diane Johnston- Barr and Samuel Barr.

Mr. Barr served his country as a member of the U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery and the 1st Armored Division Artillery, with most of his service being deployed in Germany.

Mr. Barr is survived by his son, Michael Barr of Phoenix, Ariz.; grandchildren Megan and Kyle Barr of Phoenix; daughter Jenny Barr of Corvallis, Ore.; parents Diane Berkshire of Phoenix and father Sam Barr (Nancy) of Chino Valley; sisters Karen Barr-Pocernik (Dave) Henderson of Nevada and Kelley Long (Pat) Yucaipa of California; brother Cecil Berkshire of Austin, Texas; stepbrothers Ted and Scott Bird of Jackson, Calif.; and several nieces and nephews.

Kevin Cole Barr of Chino Valley, Arizona , passed away in Prescott, Arizona on Friday, November 23, 2007 due to complications from Congestive Heart failure. Kevin was born in Aledo, Illinois, on February 11, 1955 to Diane Johnston-Barr and Samuel Barr.

Mr Barr served his country as a member of the U.S. Army 1st Battalion, 9th Field Artillery and the 1st Armored Division Artillery with most of his service being deployed in Germany.

Mr Barr is survived by his son, Michael Barr of Phoenix Arizona and grandchildren Megan and Kyle Barr of Phoenix. Daughter Jenny Barr of Corvallis, Oregon; parents, Diane Berkshire Phoenix, Arizona, Sam Barr (Nancy) of Chino Valley, Arizona; sisters, Karen Barr-Pocernik (Dave) Henderson, Nevada, Kelley Long (Pat) Yucaipa, California and brother Cecil Berkshire, Austin, Texas; stepbBrothers Ted and Scott Bird, Jackson, California, and several nieces and nephews.

The family will be having a gathering of family and friends on Friday, November 30th from 4 p.m. until 7 p.m., at the home of Sam Barr, in Chino Valley, Arizona. Please come and join the family to honor Kevin's life.
