Vicki Sue Tomczyk, 40, passed away at her home, Dec. 31. Funeral services were held Saturday at the Community Alliance Church in Wickenburg with Pastor Dave Hunter officiating.

Vicki Sue Tomczyk was born in Cudahy, Wis., on Dec. 21, 1966 to parents Robert and Emily Matyas.

Vicki moved to Arizona in 1994. Vicki had a generous heart from a very young age. She was a determined person showing this many times throughout her entire life. Along with her determination Vicki had a very strong will, helping her to battle her vicious disease for over a year, staying positive throughout her illness. She could make everyone laugh.

One of Vicki's favorite sayings was, "You can always pick your friends, but you can't pick your friends' nose."

Vicki loved her entire family, her husband Rick, her children Melissa, Mikey, and Taylor. Her stepdaughters Crystal and Holly. Being a mother and a wife meant the world to her, and she would protect her family like a mother bear and even more so when her grandson Eli was born. "Oh he loves his grandma." She was active in her children's lives being a scout leader and attending numerous dance recitals and sporting events.

Vicki is also survived by her sisters Marjorie (Chester) Cybulski of Illinois, Patti (Rick) Ryback of Wisconsin, Gail (James) English of Wisconsin; niece Sarah Frievault; nephews Gabriel Matyas, Robert English, Justin and Sean Ryback, and Jeffery Briant.

Vicki is finally at home, and she'll see you all in heaven.

Arrangements are under the direction of Wickenburg Funeral Home.
