A15 Alta Wilmeth Memorial services for Alta Wilmeth will be held on Thursday, Dec. 6 at 11 a. m. at the First Southern Baptist Church with Pastor Dean Stanley officiating. Our loving mother went home to be with the Lord on Nov 19. She was born April 8, 1923 in Lawndale, Ill., to John and Zelma Benson. She was the perfect mother to her children and adored her grandchildren and great-grandchildren, who she loved with all her heart. She was a devote wife to our father, Tom Wilmeth, Sr., who was killed in a plane crash in July of 1976. She lived in Wickenburg for 56 years. She was always a happy person and loved people. Alta was a member of the First Southern Baptist Church, and the Soroptomist Club of Wickenburg for 42 years where she worked as a volunteer at the Thrift Shop. She was also a member of the Rebecca Lodge in Wickenburg for many years. She is survived by daughter and son-in-law Loretta and Dennis Johnson of Gilbert, Ariz.; sons and daughter-in-laws John and Marsha Wilmeth of Peoni, Colo., and Tommy B. and Sherry Wilmeth of Wickenburg; grandchildren Holli, Jennifer, Tanya, Tara, Tammie, Tabitha, Randy and Sharra Sue. The family suggests memorial contribution be made in Alta's memory to the Arizona Kidney Foundation 4203 E. Indiana School Rd., Suite 140, Phoenix, AZ 85018.
