| Floyd A. Matley, of Cottonwood, passed away October 2. He was 69 years old. He was born on June 3, 1936 in Prescott, Arizona to Amos and Inez Matley. Mr. Matley attended Prescott High School and later went on to the Air Force in the Korean War. His hobbies included collecting cowboy memorabilia and gambling for fun. Mr. Matley leaves sons, Gary Matley ,Cottonwood and Dan Matley, Chandler, Ariz.; daughter, Brenda Strauss, Glendale, Ariz. and a sister Lois Pemberton, Camp Verde. He was preceded in death by his parents. A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 6 at 11 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home.
