Bronwyn (Brooks) Wolf

It is with the deepest of sorrows that we announce the death of Bronwyn Brooks Wolf of Wickenburg, a beloved mother, grandmother, and sister, who at the age of 53 passed away in El Paso, Texas, on September 20, following a courageous battle with cancer.

Lincoln once said that the better part of his life consisted of his friendships, and if that is true then Bronwyn's life on this earth was indeed rich. Friends from all walks of life and from all parts of the country mourn her passing.

She is survived by daughters Michelle Del Wolf of Drexel Hills, Pa., and Megan Mescal Wolf of Anthony, N.M.; her son-in-law Cren Quigley, grandchildren Rhett and Kiana Quigley and Kaya Mescal Sharp. Also by her brother Art Brooks and sister-in-law Julia Macias Brooks of Wickenburg; sister Diane Brooks Smith and brother-in-law Roy Smith of Florence, Ariz.; sister Tarwyn Tate Tattersall and brother-in-law David Tattersall of Sherman Oaks, Calif.; brother Delbert Brooks and sister-in-law Vicki Cromwell Brooks of Wickenburg; and sister-in-law Sharon Little Manning of Chandler, Ariz.
Nephews and nieces also survive her: Del Brooks, Brandy Brooks, Michael Brooks, Denae Brooks, Tyler Brooks, Jake Brooks, Shannon Conway Foutch, Misty Conway Meyers, and Beau Kira Tattersall.
Bronwyn is also survived by her great-aunt Lottie Alcorn; Aunt Joyce and Uncle BZ Piendl; Aunt Wanda and Uncle Bob Johns; along with numerous cousins and by many wonderful friends whom she loved and who loved her.

She was preceded in death by her father Del Brooks in 1971 and her mother Sharee Stout Miller in 2002.

Bronwyn was an advocate for children, working with a variety of organizations, agencies and schools throughout her life. She also helped many children learn a variety of rodeo skills through junior, high school, and college rodeo associations.

A celebration of life was held on Monday, Sept. 26 at the Everett Bowman Rodeo Grounds in Wickenburg, with interment in the Wickenburg Municipal Cemetery.

Arrangements were under the direction of Frey-Wickenburg Funeral Home.
