Catherine L. Yeager

Funeral services for Catherine L. Yeager were scheduled to be held at 2 p. m. Thursday of this week in the Lundberg-Hansen Mortuary in Glendale. Burial was to follow in the Wickenburg Cemetery. Rev. Scott Siegle was to officiate at both services.

Mrs. Yeager died suddenly in her home in Sun City at 5:30 a. m. Monday.

Mrs. Yeager and her late husband, Don Yeager who died in 1952, lived in Wickenburg for several years until they built a large home on the desert near Morristown. This home was sold in 1957 to Mr. & Mrs. Bill Davis and Mrs. Yeager moved to Phoenix where she resided until last summer when she purchased a home in Sun City.

She was active here in the Soroptimist Club, Easter Star, the First Presbyterian Church and enagaged in many civic and charitable projects.

She was born August 14, 1898, in Marshalltown, Iowa.

Surviving are one son, Marvin Miller of Homewood, Ill.; two grandsons, Craig and Todd Miller of Homewood; the mother, Mrs. Eunice Matsen of Marshalltown, Iowa; two brothers, Orval J. Landis of Marshalltown and Clarence A. Landis of Glendale, Calif.; and one sister, Mrs. Iantha Johnson of Marshalltown.
