Beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister and friend Patricia W. Spangler of Alpine died June 30, 2009, in Tucson. She was born April 29, 1930, in Michigan.

Patricia spent her life helping others by working as a registered nurse and a physician's assistant. She touched many lives both in her professional career as well as her personal life.

She will be greatly missed by her family, her friends and those in the communities in which she touched so many lives.

After retiring, Patricia and Oscar made their home in Alpine, where they enjoyed the fresh air, pine trees and elk in their front yard.

They continued to live in Alpine until the Lord called her home and Patricia has returned to God's country, the place she loved to be. "We love you Grandma Pat."

Patricia leaves behind her husband of 51 years, Oscar; children Nancy, Lori, Eric (Ginny) and Keith (Deidra); grandchildren Roseanda, Eric, Daniel, Sara, Sabrina, Rosa, Miguel, Brandon and Dylan; great-granddaughter Alazae; and sister Joyce (Jerry) Pickrell. She was preceded in death by her parents, Charles and Lola Webb, sister Kathy Miller and daughter Karen Spangler.

A memorial service will be held at St. Paul's Episcopal Church, North 3rd and Safford Street, Tombstone, (520) 559-3290, on Saturday, July 11, at 10 a.m.

A reception will follow at the Vigilante Hall. Graveside services will be held at the Alpine Cemetery on July 18 at 1 p.m. Reception to follow.

A memorial was held at Tombstone with graveside services in Alpine.
