Born in Kansas City, Missouri on Dec. 31, 1913.
Departed on Jan. 15, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Ralph Joseph Ahlen, 92, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away Sunday, January 15, 2006. He was born on December 31, 1913 to Minnie Pierson and Joseph C. Alhen in Kansas City, Missouri, where he grew up and graduated from Northeast High School.

Ralph also attended the Army OCS, where he held the rank of first lieutenant, as well, he served his country in the United States Army from 1943-1945.

Professionally, Ralph worked in Industrial Sales, and dedicated himself to such until his retirement.

After his retirement, he was able to spend his time doing the things he enjoyed most. While living at Table Rock Lake his activities included, fishing and boating. He also enjoyed traveling, but more than anything, he loved spending time with his family.

He is preceded in death by his daughter, Linda; his brother, Vernon; and his sister, Dorothy.

Ralph leaves behind his wife and sweetheart of 65 years, Dorothy Eileen Ahlen, Cottonwood, Ariz.; daughter, Donna Michael, Camp Verde, Ariz.; two granddaughters, Tiffany and Lauren and four precious great-grandchildren.

In his memory, Memorial Services will be held on Saturday, January 28, 2006 at 10:00am at the Peace Lutheran Church, where he was proud to be a member.
