Born in Greensburg, Pennsylvania on Dec. 27, 1930.
Departed on Jan. 6, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Dorothy Howieson, 75, a former long time resident of Cottonwood, Ariz., passed away on Saturday, January 6, 2006 in Atlanta, Ga. She was the daughter of Peter Jokola and Helen Krivokucha on December 27, 1930 in Greensburg, Penn.

Mrs. Howieson had worked as a secretary before moving to the Verde Valley from California.

She is survived by her daughter, Debra Hebert, Ga.; son, Peter Slaney, Or.; sister, Evelyn Rapaich, Calif.; brothers, Robert Jokola, Calif. and Peter Jokola, Tx.; and her uncle, Phillip Monte of Penn.

Funeral Services will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2006 at 1:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave. in Cottonwood, AZ.

Dorothy will be interred next to her beloved husband, Jack L. Howieson at Valley View Cemetery in Clarkdale, Arizona.
