| June Elizabeth Wingfield Born in Los Angeles, California on June 1, 1929. Departed on July 23, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. June Elizabeth Winfield, 77, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed on from this world to meet her Lord at 10:15am on Sunday, July 23, 2006. June was born on June 1, 1929 in Los Angeles, California, and soon after, when she was just a toddler, she came to Arizona with her family and has resided in this state ever since. June was an only child. June was an avid reader, she enjoyed playing bingo, but her favorite pastime was dancing. June leaves behind her husband of four years, Roger C. Wingfield, resident of Cottonwood and native to Arizona; as well as her brother-in-law, Louis and Billie Wingfield, Dewey, Ariz. and are also native to Arizona. A Memorial Service will be conducted at the Austin House - Activity Room, 195 S. Willard St. in Cottonwood, on Wednesday, July 26, 2006 at 9:00 a.m. Following the service, for those able to attend, a Visitation will be held from 10:00-11:30 a.m. at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., also in Cottonwood. June will be laid to rest at Clear Creek Cemetery, in Camp Verde. |
