Charles Louis Dandrea Charles Louis Dandrea, 51, of Mayer, died Thursday, Aug. 24, 2000, in Dewey. He was born Feb. 10, 1949, in Prescott, to Charles Franklin and Sherrill (Hayes) Dandrea. Mr. Dandrea worked as a supervisor for the Arizona Department of Transportation. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, hiking and history. His family and friends knew him as a hard worker and loving husband, father and grandfather. Surviving are his wife of 31 years, Karen; son, James of Prescott Valley; daughter, Sharla of Mayer; mother, Sherrill Olson of Cottonwood; sister, Nadine of Cottonwood; and two grandchildren. Preceding him in death was his father, Charles, in 1981. Memorial services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday at Sunrise Funeral Home, 8167 E. Highway 69, Prescott Valley, with Pastor Thom Ernst of Mayer Community Church officiating. Private cremation was at Sunrise Crematory, Prescott Valley.
