| Rogena Joy Stevens Born in Phoenix, Arizona on July 9, 1957. Departed on Aug. 18, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Rogena Joy Stevens, 49, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Friday, August 18, 2006. She was born on July 9, 1957 to Roger Harold and Janet Joy Smelser in Phoenix, Arizona. Rogena resided in Lancaster, Ohio before moving to Arizona, and worked as a Certified Nursing Assistant and Caregiver. Rogena leaves behind two sons, Shawn Richard DeLong, wife Crystal, and Charles Richard DeLong, fiancé Vanessa, all of Cottonwood, Ariz.; her parents, Roger Smelser, Ark., and Janet Smelser, Lakeside, Ariz.; brothers, Kelley Smelser, Mesa, Ariz., Kurbie Smelser, Lancaster, Oh., and Kurtiss Smelser, Bowling Greens, Oh. and four grandchildren, Kourtni DeLong, Kaylee DeLong, Jasmin Mills, and Brandon DeLong, all of Cottonwood, Ariz. A Memorial Service will be held on Thursday, August 24, 2006 at 12:00pm at Westcott Funeral Home, 1013 E. Mingus Ave., in Cottonwood, Arizona.
