Gloria Shanahan Lawhon Born in Rochester, New York on May 20, 1926. Departed on July 27, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Gloria S. Lawhon, 80, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Thursday, July 27, 2006 in Prescott, Arizona. Gloria was born on May 20, 1926 in Rochester, New York to Joseph and Gertrude (Burke) Shanahan. On a professional level, Gloria worked on Wall Street and later continued on in data entry; but on a personal level, Gloria loved to read and she loved to serve the Lord. Gloria was proud of her membership with Emmanuel Fellowship. She is preceded in death by her husband, James W. Lawhon; she leaves behind her son, Kevin S. Lawhon, wife, Laurie, Chatsworth, N.J.; her daughter, Kelly and Michael Anderson, Chino Valley, Ariz.; brothers, Daniel and Virginia Shanahan, Virginia, Rancho La Costa, Calif., and Frank and Charlotte Shanahan, Fort Lauderdale, Fla.; sister, Susan and William Bell, Riverside, Calif. and many nieces and numerous nephews. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, August 12, 2006 at 2:00 p.m. in the Senior Hall of Emmanuel Fellowship, 1580 E. Fir Street in Cottonwood, Arizona.
