| The Prescott Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, October 28, 2007 April 10, 1943 to Oct. 24, 2007 Citizen of the Universe, entrepreneur, percussionist, free spirit, Sacred Warrior and our life teacher, completed his journey Wednesday, Oct. 24 ,surrounded by family and friends who loved him unconditionally. Pharmacy Program Administrator for AHCCCS, his aspiration was always to be of service and to bring joy to others through love, compassion and music. If he was unable to be of service or bring joy, he at least wanted to bring no harm or suffering to any sentient being. Del is preceded in death by his parents, Dorothy and Dallas Swan and his stepson, Jeremy Richards. He leaves behind his loving wife, Cheryl; stepson Jeffrey Richards of San Francisco; brother Donald Swan of Alabama; son Matt Swan; and daughter Amy Fears. He also leaves behind so many others he considered family to numerous to list. A "Celebration of the Oneness of all Life" will be determined by family and friends at a later date. A memorial service will be noon Saturday, Dec. 8, 2007, at Goldwater Lake in Prescott, Ariz. Arizona Ruffner Wakelin Funeral Home assisted the family with final arrangements. |
