Born in Perry, Oklahoma on Jul. 5, 1919.
Departed on Nov. 14, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Floyd Leroy Garver, 88, resident of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Wednesday, November 14, 2007. He was born July 5, 1919 in Perry, Oklahoma.

After attending Bible College for 2 years, he was ordained by the Assemblies of God in 1944 - afterwhich, he worked and retired as a clergyman. He lived and loved his position as a clergyman; studying the Bible and bringing many to Christ. He also enjoyed singing and reciting poetry.

He leaves behind three daughters, Glenda and Raymond Weaver, Chandler, Delores Staker, Cottonwood, and Linda and Bobby Clark, Cottonwood; two brothers, Charles Garver, Tx., and Neal Garver, Mo.; one sister, Mary Allbaugh, Calif.; six grandchildren and eleven great-grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held on January 19, 2008 at 2:00 p.m. at the Emmanuel Fellowship Church in Cottonwood, where Floyd was proud to be a member.
