| Desa Vick Born in Croatia on Feb. 6, 1923. Departed on Dec. 29, 2006 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona. Desa Vick, 83, of Cottonwood died December 29. She was born February 6, 1923 in Croatia, the daughter of Vladimir and Anastasia Stanic. Mrs. Vick came to the United States after the Croation War. She was the wife of the late Ray Vick. She leaves two sons, Chad Charles Vick, Ojai, Calif. and George Vick, Palmdale, Calif. and a sister Vera Merser of Cottonwood. A memorial service will be held on Friday, January 5, 2007 in the Westcott Funeral Home at 11 a.m. In lieu of flowers, donations in her memory may be made to the Verde Valley Humane Society, P.O.
