Thomas D. Rees, 76, resident of Cottonwood, Arizona, passed away on Saturday, February 3, 2007. He was born August 13, 1930 to Thomas and Anne Rees in Clemenceau, Arizona, where he grew up and attended school.

Thomas was a decorated veteran of the United States Navy, having served as Boiler Technician-Second Class, during the Vietnam War and the Korean Conflict.

During his lifetime, Thomas worked for the Northern Arizona Gas Company, Bicentennial High School, and LaPaz County Highway Department. Thomas enjoyed painting and carving.

He leaves behind his wife of 20 years, Ann K. Rees, Cottonwood, Ariz.; his son, Sam Rees of Salome, Ariz.; his sisters, Alice McCoy, Cornville, Ariz., and Lauree Baker of Phoenix; his mother Anne Burrell, Phoenix and four grandchildren.

A Graveside Service will be held on Friday, February 9, 2007 at 1:30pm, at the National Memorial Cemetery of Arizona in Cave Creek.
