Born in Colgate, Oklahoma on March 11, 1906.
Departed on June 14, 2007 and resided in Camp Verde, Arizona.

Addie Mae Brumley, 101, resident of Camp Verde, passed away on Thursday, June 14, 2007. She was born on March 11, 1906 to Charles Dupree and Oma (Hurn) Henry in Colgate, Oklahoma, which at that time was still Indian Territory.

Addie was a long-time resident of Flagstaff, having lived and worked there from 1938-1970. While living there, she worked for and retired from Flagstaff Safety Services. Following her retirement, Addie moved to Camp Verde, where she has remained until the time of her passing.

She was interested in genealogy, and worked diligently in her family’s history. Addie also enjoyed quilting and crocheting.

Addie is preceded in death by her husband, Fred M. Brumley and her daughter, Winifred Keck.

She leaves behind two daughters, Betty Jean and Tom Williams, Calif., and LaVern Lay, Cottonwood; brothers, Richard and Dorey Henry, Phoenix, and Eugene and Theresa Henry, Phoenix; eleven grandchildren, twenty-six great-grandchildren and ten great-great-grandchildren.

A Funeral Service will be held on Wednesday, June 20, 2007 at 10:00am, with a ½ hour prior viewing at the Camp Verde LDS Church, where Addie was a member and a former President of the Relief Society.

Following the service, she will be laid to rest at the Clear Creek Cemetery.
