Born in Logansport, Indiana on Jan. 29, 1917.
Departed on April 27, 2007 and resided in Cottonwood, Arizona.

Charles E. Fauset, 90, resident of Cottonwood, passed away at home on Friday, April 27, 2007.

He was born January 29, 1917 to Clyde and Anna (Downs) Fauset in Logansport, Indiana. He graduated from Delphi High School, following which, he attended Indiana State and Indiana University; receiving his Doctorate. Charles was a Professor and the Dean of the College of Education for the Northern Arizona University.

Charles also served his country during WWII as a Staff Sergeant in the United States Army.

He loved teaching. Charles had many interests, and filled his time with a variety of activities; of which some included, playing bridge, golfing, walking, reading, fishing, traveling, listening to music, and watching sports on TV. Most of all though, he loved being with his family. He was the greatest dad in world!

He is preceded in death by his wife, Chrystal Fauset; and his parents.

He leaves behind two sons, Chris (Renee) Fauset, Flagstaff, and Craig Fauset, Corpus Christi, Tx.; daughters, Carol and John Cook, Ritzville, Wash., and Cathy and Jimmy Mullenax, Aransas Pass, Tx.; his sister, Mary Brooks and niece, Jamie Wray, both of Oberlin, Ks.; eleven grandchildren; fourteen great-grandchildren - with the fifteenth on the way!

A Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, May 2, 2007 at 10:00 a.m. at the Cottonwood Village.
