William H. Gibbons

William H. Gibbons, 82, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Thursday, June 28, 2007. He was born in Douglas, Arizona on August 5, 1925.

William was a WWII Veteran, having served in the United States Navy. He worked for and retired from the Phoenix Cement Plant in Clarkdale.

William was a wonderful, loving husband and father. He leaves behind his wife of 62 years, Jacquelyn J. Gibbons; sons, William J. and Tamera Gibbons, Phoenix, Thomas E. and Rickie Gibbons, Missouri, and John S. Mary Gibbons, Phoenix, daughter, Patricia K. and Chuck Bice, Nev.; four grandchildren, eighteen great-grandchildren and thirty-two great-great-grandchildren.

A Visitation will be held on Monday, July 2, 2007 from 5:00-7:00 p.m., with the Funeral Service to follow Tuesday, July 3, 2007 at 9:30 a.m. All services will be held at Westcott Funeral Home.

Interment will be at Valley View Cemetery.
