Kathleen Lenore Cantrell Kathleen Lenore Cantrell, resident of Cottonwood, passed away on Saturday, September 29, 2007, at the age of 75. She was born March 1, 1932 in Montezuma, Kansas to DeVille and Leola (Trumbo) Abernathy, and grew up and graduated from High School in Jackson, Mississippi. Kathleen worked for and retired from Eatons Corporation as an automotive inspector. She was an astrologer, writer, and seamstress. She also enjoyed doing crafts. Kathleen is preceded in death by her daughter, Gayle Barrus who resided in Battle Creek, Mississippi. She leaves behind sons, Steve and Doris, Scot and Linda, all of Battle Creek, Miss., and Greg, Cottonwood, Ariz.; daughters, Gwen and Steve Stalo, Cottonwood, Ariz., Barbara Moody, Cottonwood, Ariz., and Gloria and Larry Coger, Battle Creek, Miss.; brothers, Neill and Judy Abernathy, Boise, Id., and Mike and Libby Abernathy, Kentwood, La.; sisters, Marolyn Klienert, St. Peter, Minn., and Carley and Bob Kissee, Rogersville, Mo.; thirteen grandchildren and sixteen great-grandchildren.
