Erma Ruth McComb Grammont

Erma Ruth McComb Grammont, passed away on Monday, March 10, 2008 in her Cottonwood home at the age of 91. She was born November 28, 1916 in Tremonton, Utah; daughter of Edwin and Lillian (Nelson) McComb.

During her youth she attended the schools in Quincy, Illinois. Erma worked for and retired from Boeing, where she was a technical engineer.

She was a member of the Christian Scientist; and she was a member of the Cottonwood Rock Club. Erma loved nature and she enjoyed being a real rock-hound.

Erma was a gracious lady and recognized God in all that she had; and she revealed that through her strength and caring of others. Knowing her, and loving her was an honor.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Myron Grammont.

She leaves behind her good friend and care-giver of 13 years, Barbara Barns of Cottonwood; her nephew, Jim (Debbie) Kaiser of Council Bluffs, Iowa; and her nieces, Sandy (Keith) Stamp of Monticello, Iowa, and Debra (Deryl) Shaiover of Mesa, Ariz.
