| Roderick "Rod" Hodges Roderick "Rod" Hodges, 86, resident of Clarkdale, passed away on Sunday, March 2, 2008. He was born August 20, 1921 in Schenectady, New York to Frederick and Margaret (Bradt) Hodges. Rod dedicated 30 years as a letter carrier to the United States Postal Service. He also volunteered his time at the hospital and the Chamber of Commerce. Rod was a member of the Faith Lutheran Church. He leaves behind his wife of 61 years, Harriet Hodges, Clarkdale; sons, Rod C. Hodges, Cottonwood, Charles B. Hodges, Phoenix, and Gary L. Hodges, wife, Lori, Phoenix; brother, Bruce Selden, wife, Beverly, Phoenix; sister, Beverly McCaffrey, New York and three grandchildren.
