The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 26, 1971 Amos G. Montano, 81, of 700 East Sheldon St., died Sunday, Dec. 19, 1971 at Whipple VA Hospital Born June 18, 1890 at Rito, M.M. he had resided in Arizona for 50 years and in Prescott for the past 40 years. He was a retired railroad worker and served his country as a sergeant in the US Army during World War One. Survivors include his wife, Nancy of Prescott and one daughter out-of-state. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 21 at Whipple VA Chapel with Father Leonard Cueller officiating. Interment with full military honors will follow at the VA Cemetery.
