Kenneth M. Brown, 82, passed away on November 11, 2004 at his residence in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born on September 19, 1922 in Los Angeles, CA; to Claude M. and Lois (Kaplan) Brown. Ken moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; 19 years ago from Torrance, CA. He served as an official photographer of Los Angeles International Airport for 20 years. He also photographed countless celebrities, 6 presidents and even Jimmy Hoffa. Ken was an early pioneer of the city, flying to Lake Havasu City with Mr. McCulloch, staying at Site Six and serving as Mr. McCulloch's private photographer. He took photos of Lake Havasu City in its infancy, many of which will be on display at the Smithsonian Exhibit, currently at Mohave Community College. Ken is survived by his loving wife of 56 years Dolly Brown of Lake Havasu City, AZ; son Scott Brown and wife Donna of Palmdale, CA; and grandchildren Brandon and John Brown both of Palmdale, CA. A graveside service will be held on Monday, November 15, 2004 at 2:00 p.m. at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Rev. Richard Rounds will officiate.
