Beau William Carter

Beau William Carter, 26, passed away on Sunday, May 14, 2006 in Piedmont, SD. He was born on May 9, 1980 in Rapid City, SD.

Beau spent the first six years of his life in Belle Fourche, SD; and moved to Lake Havasu City, AZ; in 1986. He attended kindergarten through 12th grade in Lake Havasu City and graduated from Lake Havasu High School in 1999. During the past seven years, Beau has worked in construction in both Arizona and South Dakota, along with commercial fishing in Alaska with his brother-in-law Corey.

Beau was involved in high school athletics, where he excelled in wrestling, breaking 3 school records. He enjoyed everything in life: snowboarding, bungee jumping, scuba diving, dirt biking, traveling, spending time with his family and friends, and his greatest joy in life was being a husband and a father to his pride and joy, Mason.

Beau is survived by his wife Erika, son Mason Carter of Lake Havasu City, AZ; mother Rae Ann (Allen) Windholz of Lake Havasu City, AZ; father William (Darlene) Carter of Piedmont, SD; sisters Kelli (Corey) Brost of Spearfish, SD; and Kristi Lintz of Lake Havasu City, AZ; half-sisters Tonya Stevenson of Washington and Shelly Carter of Hawaii; step-siblings Rae Ann (Scott) Green, Allen Windholz, Tim Windholz all of Lake Havasu City, AZ; Perry and Cole Wade of Piedmont, SD; grandmother Arlene (Kenneth) Carter-Snyder of Piedmont, SD; along with aunts, uncles, cousins, nephews and friends in Arizona and South Dakota. He was preceded in death by his grandfather Ernest Carter and grandparents Richard and Peggy Rail.

A visitation will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Sunday, May 21, 2006 from 12-5 p.m. Family and friends will be gathering at 5-7 pm with stories at 7 pm. Funeral services will be held at Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Monday, May 22, 2006 at 10:00 a.m. with burial to follow at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens and then lunch at Shugrues.

Arrangements were entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home and Crematory.
