Jacquelyn Barbara West – Campbell, 79, of Prescott Valley, Arizona, born March 7, 1927, in Boston, Mass., died Saturday, Aug. 12, 2006, at her home in Prescott Valley.

Private cremation will take place at the Bradshaw Crematory in Prescott Valley.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. Sheldon, Suite 100, Prescott, Ariz., 86301.

Jacquelyn Barbara West Campbell, 79, of Prescott Valley and formerly of San Leandro, Calif., passed away on Aug. 12, 2006, after a brave battle with cancer.

A graduate of Boston College, she embarked on a career as a Psychiatric Social Worker, Marriage Counselor, and Geriatric Research; first in Boston and lastly for Alameda County in the San Francisco Bay area, where she retired from.

A formner Ms. Senior Arizona Beauty title holder, Jackie was extremely talented in arts and crafts. She made and donated many afghans for needy causes. She shared her talents with friends and was a great mentor to many.

For 27 years she was the soul mate of her beloved Ernie F. Campbell, who preceded her in death.

Survived by son Judson Leo Smith and his wife LV; step-daughter Paula Jean Campbell-Flores and husband Jose; step-son Scott Gordon Campbell; grandson Adam Campbell and her many local and faraway friends.

Per her wish, no formal funeral services to be held.

In celebrations of her life, family/friends will gather at her Prescott Valley home from 1 to 6 p.m. on Sunday, Aug 20.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice Family Care, 100 E. Sheldon,Suite 100, Prescott Ariz.
