LeRoy Eaton was born in Eagle Grove, Iowa in 1909. During his life time he attended College at the Colorado School of Mines in Golden, Colorado. He served in the United States Navy during World War Two as an enlisted sailor. Following the war he was employed by the Bureau of Reclamation on the Colorado Big Thompson project. In 1954 he transferred to the Department of Defense and relocated to White Sands Missile Range in New Mexico where he was Deputy Chief of Range Operations until 1970. Retired to Lake Havasu City, Arizona where he remained until his death on his birthday in 1991. LeRoy is interred at the Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.
