Charles F. Frazer

Charles F. Frazer, 78, passed away February 9, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to John and Frances (Pickens) Frazer on August 13, 1928 in Belpre, OH.

Chuck served under the direction of the United States Army during World War II and was also a former P.O.W. of 37 months during the Korean War. During his time served with the military, he worked for the Army Corp of Engineers. He owned and operated his own jewelry store in Anchorage, AK for 40 years. He was a lifetime member of the VFW.

Chuck is survived by his three sons, David, Richard and Timothy Frazer and one daughter, Ellen Dunaway; eleven grandchildren, Christina, Nicolas, Vanessa, Ricky, John, Aaron, Robert, Heather, Cory, Kyle and Aaron; six great grandchildren and his business partners, dear friends and traveling companions, Jane and Dawn Grant of Lake Havasu.

He was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Frances and grandson, Christopher.

Chuck was "just the best guy". He was a great father and a very caring man. He was a hero to his family. One of Chuck's favorite quotes was "freedom isn't free".

Graveside services will be held Thursday, February 15, 2007, 3:00 PM at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Full military honors will be presented by the V.F.W. Post 9401 and American Legion Post 81.
