| Jerry Anthony Grippo, 68, passed away June 27, 2006 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Geraldo and Maria (Lanzalotti) Grippo on January 14, 1938 in Avelleno, Italy. Jerry was a proud veteran serving under the direction of the United States Army. He married his best friend, Mary Maganzine on September 21, 1981. Jerry was the original owner of Angelina's in Lake Havasu for 13 years. Jerry is survived by his beloved wife of 24 years, Mary; sons Jerry Grippo of California, Vincent Grippo of Texas and Richard Maltese of Lake Havasu; daughters, Lillian Grippo and Marie Grippo, both of California and Christina Grippo of Lake Havasu; brothers, Joseph and Rocco Grippo of New Jersey; sister, Antoinette Damato of New York and three grandchildren Brody, Giovanni and Dane Grippo. A visitation will be held Wednesday, July 5, from 3 to 8 pm with a Rosary at 7:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be Thursday, July 6, 2006, 10:00 am at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Father Mike Ashibuogwu will officiate. Interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. The VFW Post #9401 and American Legion Post #81 will conduct full military honors.
