Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Sunday, December 9, 2007 Andrea Kristine Keland Moore lost her valiant fight with cancer in the early morning of Dec. 5, 2007, in Scottsdale, Ariz. She was born and raised in Racine, Wis., the daughter of Karen Johnson Keland Boyd and William Harold Keland. Kristi graduated from the Prairie School in Racine and the University of Wisconsin at Madison. In 1987, on a river trip down the Colorado River, with all of her extended family, she met and fell in love with an Arizona cowboy, Tres Moore. They were married in 1990, and shortly after moved to their ranch near Prescott, Ariz. Kris took to the life of being a rancher’s wife, and she and Tres developed many great friendships. The ranch provided the both of them with privacy and the opportunity to enjoy all that nature provides. She was predeceased by her father, William Harold Keland, and is survived by her husband, Albert Lee “Tres” Moore III; mother, Karen Johnson Boyd; two sisters, Nickolina and Henrietta Keland; brother, William Keland. Visitation is from 6 to 8 p.m. Tuesday, Dec. 11, 2007, at Whitney & Murphy Funeral Home, 4800 E. Indian School Road, Phoenix, Ariz. She will be laid to rest at the ranch on Wednesday, Dec. 12, 2007, at 2 p.m. (Information provided by survivors.) |
