The Daily Courier, Prescott, Arizona Monday, February 14, 1972 Willmetta Pearle Cleator, 93, of Cleator, died Thursday, Feb. 10, 1972, at Yavapai Community Hospital. Born Jan. 27, 1879, at Sherwood, Mo., she moved to Arizona in 1916. She was the widow of James P. Cleator, for which the town of Cleator was names. Mrs. Cleator was Postmistress of Cleator form many years until the office was abandoned in the 1950’s. Survivors include one daughter, Mrs. Betty Shipman, of Arlington, Texas, one son Thomas R. Cleator, of Cleator and six grandchildren. Funeral services were conducted at 2 p.m. Monday Feb. 14 at the Ruffner Funeral Home.
