| Lake Havasu resident, Maxine James, passed away on April 30, 2006 in Bullhead City, AZ at the age of 83. Maxine was a devoted and loving mother, grandmother and wife. She enjoyed collecting antiques and jewelry. Maxine loved traveling, growing roses and "big band" music. Most of all, she loved her family and many friends. She will be greatly missed. Maxine is survived by her son, Ron (Pat) James of Tehachapi, CA; daughter Carol (Bob) Bruegge of Bullhead City, AZ; grandson, Michael (Kristin) James of Bakersfield, CA; granddaughters, Kristen (Brian) Russom of Newburg, OR, Allison Bruegge and Sara Bruegge of Bullhead City, AZ and great granddaughters, Jensyn and Macie James of Bakersfield, CA. Maxine was preceded in death by her husband of over 56 years, Richard "Dick" James and her sister, Lucille Brown. Visitation and viewing will take place at Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home in Lake Havasu City on Friday, May 5 from 6:00 to 8:00 PM. Graveside services will commence at 11:00 AM on Saturday, May 6 at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Desert Bloom Ministries, 1470 E.
