Junivere (Swartsell) Kany

Junivere S. Kany, 88 passed away February 24, 2005 in Bisbee, AZ. She was born to Charles and Joan (Hall) Swartsell on March 29, 1916 in Dayton, OH.

Junivere had been a 30 year resident of Lake Havasu prior to moving to Bisbee to be with her daughter 3 ½ years ago. She had been a dance instructor for 25 years. Junivere was a member of the Friends of the Library, the Hospital Auxiliary and the Dance Masters of America.

Junivere is survived by her loving daughter, Joy Timbers and her husband John of Bisbee, AZ; niece, Doris Manos and other nieces and nephews and she will also be dearly missed by her lifetime friends, Charlotte Arvay of Lake Havasu City and Betty Jackson of Bullhead City, AZ.

She was preceded in death by her beloved husband of 61 years, John Kany who passed away August 11, 2001; son, Jon Larry Kany who passed November 18, 1999 and mother, Joan Swartsell.

Funeral services will be held Tuesday, March 1, 11:00 AM at Community Presbyterian Church followed by a luncheon reception. Rev. Dr. David Bybee will officiate. A private interment will take place at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens immediately following the services.

Junivere was a great mother and will be dearly missed by so many who had the opportunity of knowing her.
