Joseph M. Koren, 81, passed away on May 4, 2007 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on March 27, 1926 in Cleveland, Ohio to Stephen and Helen (Kocian) Koren. Joseph worked as a realtor for Amigo Realty in Lake Havasu City, Arizona for 5 years. He moved to Lake Havasu City from Cleveland, Ohio 37 years ago where he was a retired firefighter with the Cleveland Heights Fire Dept.. He is a proud veteran of the U.S. Navy serving in World War II. He was a member of V.F.W., Ohio Association of Professional Firefighters Retiree Organization and a member of Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church. Joseph loved to go to the Senior Center to play pinochle with his good buddies and he loved to watch the Diamondbacks. Joseph is survived by his loving wife of 57 years Ann Marie Koren of Lake Havasu City, Arizona; sons Joseph Koren (Lana) of Cave Creek, Arizona and Stephen Koren of Glendale, Arizona; 1 grandchild Katen and 2 great grandchildren Abagail and Aiden. He is preceded in death by his parents Stephen and Helen Koren. A memorial mass will be held on Thursday, May 31, 2007 at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church at 11:30 AM with Father Mike Ashibuogwu and Deacon Tom Coe officiating.
