June 08, 1936 to November 23, 2008 Robert Monroe "Bob" Lee passed away November 23, 2008 in Lake Havasu City, AZ at the age of 72. He was born to Robert and Martha (Schultz) Lee on June 8, 1936 in Baldwinsville, NY. For 30 years, Bob was the man on the water, the person that people from all over the world came to, to learn and enjoy the art of fishing. It started in the mid-70's when he began to teach the art of fishing, escalating from a couple of days a week to seven days a week, almost to the point of being overwhelmed. Eventually Bob slowed his pace by becoming the manager of a tackle shop, which allowed him to participate in trade shows. Over the years, his greatest joy was teaching children how to fish, "the future fisherman". Bob had to hang up his pole in 2005 due to health reasons, but he still went down to Site Six a lot to see the guys and chew the fat. Besides fishing, Bob also enjoyed golfing, eating ice cream, playing games the Wii, bowling and gambling. He had a passion for listening to bagpipers and harmonica music, going dancing and traveling with his beloved wife, Dody. His most memorable trip was their cruise to Alaska. Bob was a member of the Elks, Eagles, London Bridge Lions Club and a charter member of the Anglers United, the Lake Havasu City Chapter. Bob leaves behind his beloved wife of 45 years, Dody Lee of Lake Havasu; daughters, Bonnie Lee of Lake Havasu, Carrie (Trent) Thompson of Issaquah, WA and Cynthia (Scott) Hartman of Lake Havasu; brother, Ronnie Lee of Lake Havasu and seven grandchildren, Tiffany, Tim, Nathan, Nicholas, Andrew, Alec and Trevor. He was preceded in death by his cat, Mr. Man Lee. A visitation will be held Friday, November 28, 2008, from 4:00 to 8:00 pm at Lietz-Fraze Chapel, with a Rosary at 7:00 pm. The funeral mass will be at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church on Saturday, November 29, 2008 at 10:00 am. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. Donations may be made in Bob's name to Anglers United, the Lake Havasu City Chapter, payable to Anglers United Inc., PO Box 1882, Lake Havasu City, AZ 86405.
