Chester William Lietz

Chester William Lietz, 78, passed away on February 15th, 1995 at his home in Lake Havasu City, Arizona. He was born on July 10th, 1916 in Chicago, Illinois to Walter O. Lietz and Stella "Machutt" Lietz.

Chester was a self employed machinist for 35 years and a firefighter for the Chicago Fire Dept. He served as vice president of Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home. He moved his family to Phoenix 30 years ago from Chicago, Illinois, and moved to Lake Havasu City, Arizona 10 years ago. He is a proud veteran of World War II in the U.S. Army. He is a member of B.P.O.E. #2399 in Lake Havasu City, Arizona.

Chester is survived by his loving wife Marion H. Lietz of Lake Havasu City, Arizona, his sons Walter Chester Lietz of Lake Havasu City, Arizona and William Marion Lietz of Phoenix, Arizona, brother Gilbert Lietz of Chicago, Illinois, sisters Corrine Bales of Phoenix, Arizona and Betty Eggert of Chicago, Illinois, and seven grandchildren.

Visitation will be held at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel on Saturday February 18th, 1995 from 7 - 9 P.M.. Funeral services will be held on Sunday February 19th, 1995 at the Lietz-Fraze Chapel at 2 P.M. with Father Rudy Kundert and Rev. Craig Larson officiating. Burial will be at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens with military honors provided by VFW Post #9401. Escorts were provided by Lake Havasu Fire Dept.

Arrangements were made by Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home.
