| A memorial service was held for Roy Edward Longbotham III who passed away July 18, 2008 of pancreatic cancer. Surrounded by those he loved, Roy passed quietly in his sleep, freed from all his pain. Born on April 27, 1953 in Brawley, Calif. Roy was the cherished son of Roy and Gwen Longbotham of Exeter. As Roy grew, so did the number of people who loved him. He will forever be remembered as a loving son, a devoted father, and adored brother, a favorite uncle, a proud grandfather and a friend to many. Roy attended high school in Exeter but lived most of his adult life in Bethel, Ala. He leaves behind his parents Roy Jr. and Gwen Longbotham, his two sons Roy IV and Travis Longbotham, his sister Desiree Longbotham and two grandchildren in addition to his nieces, nephews and cousins. He will forever be remembered and is greatly missed. He was laid to rest in Lake Havasue City, Arz. beside his beloved sister Davida who passed in July of 1990. He now lives in the Kingdom of God.
