Russell Warren, Sr. Lucier

Russell Warren Lucier Sr., 61, passed away November 9, 2004 in Lake Havasu City, AZ. He was born to Adelor and Blanche (Haydon) Lucier on September 16, 1943 in Brockton, MA.

Russell, a proud veteran in the US Army, made Lake Havasu home 3 years ago from Garden Grove, CA. He was a painting contractor and became a general contractor in Massachusetts, and continued that line of work when he and his family moved to California in 1968. He later became a police officer in Orange County, CA for 8 years, becoming a security officer which led to starting his own security company in Westminster, CA. Russell also worked as a fire instructor and an animal control officer, all in California. He was also a member of the Moose Lodge in Lake Havasu.

Russell is survived by his best friend and beloved wife of 36 years, Terry; sons, John of Lake Havasu City, Roy of Huntington Beach, CA, Richard and Rusty, both of Florida; brother, James Lucier of East Bridgewater, MA; sister, Joan Tinkham of Hudson, NH and five grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by his parents and grandparents, Joseph and Alice Lucier.

Visitation will be held Monday, November 15, 9:00 a.m. with funeral services to follow at 10:00 am at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Interment will be held at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens after the services
