| Carmela (Gargano) Mattogno passed quietly to be reunited with her late husband Peter J. Mattogno on December 23, 2002 at at the age of 82. She was born on July 19, 1920 and spent most of her life in Massachusetts, moving to Lake Havasu City, Arizona in 1978. Carmela was a seamstress for 30 years in Lynn, Massachesetts. She was a member of the V.F.W. Auxillary, the Moose Lodge, Lions and the Elks. She is survived by her loving family, son, Peter J. Mattogno of Lake Havasu; daughter, Donna M. Pizura of Duxbury, Massachusetts; brother, Ceasar Gargano of Lynn, Massachusetts; sisters, Florence Bianchini of Brookline, Massachusetts, Esther Belliveau of Marlboro, Massachusetts and Yola Ricardoni of Malden, Massachusetts; and two grandchildren, Carolyn Frost and Michael Pizura. She is preceded in by her husband of 54 years, Peter J. Mattogno who passed away on January 28, 2000. A visitation will be held Monday, December 30, 2002, 6:00 to 8:00 PM with a rosary at 7:00 at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Funeral services will be Tuesday, December 31, 2002, 10:00 AM at Our Lady of the Lake Roman Catholic Church with Father Michael Deptula officiating. Interment will follow the services at Lake Havasu Memorial Gardens. In lieu of flowers, the family respectfully requests donations to go to Hospice of Havasu.
