Fred Walter Miller passed away in Lake Havasu City, AZ October 27, 2006. Fred was born May 17, 1915 to his parents Tillie and Bert Miller in Hunter, KS. He grew up on a farm. He was the third of 7 children. Fred graduated from Hunter High School in 1933. In 1934 he married his beloved wife, Alice (Henry) Miller. They were married for 72 years. They moved to Lake Havasu City in 1982 after selling his machine shop business. Fred loved to play golf, travel, fishing and winning at cards and board games. Fred is survived by his wife, Alice Marie Miller; three daughters, Gayle Moscato, Sharon Burnett, Dixie Lee Birch and her husband Lee Birch; grandchildren, Kirk Burnett and Kerry Lynn Cooper; great grandson, Richard Cooper; sister, Joan Yommer; sister-in-law, Bonnie Miller Sibley and many nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Bert and Tillie Miller; three brothers; two sisters and his two grandchildren, Freddie and Bobbi Jo. Memorial services will be held Saturday, November 11, 2006, 11:00 AM at Lietz-Fraze Chapel. Arrangements entrusted to Lietz-Fraze Funeral Home & Crematory.
